Youths and other residents of Oyo State protesting hardship in the country attacked the governor’s office in Agodi area of Ibadan.
Bulletin has earlier reported that barely 22 days before the general elections, youths in their numbers stormed the streets of Ibadan, on Friday, to protest the current state of the nation.
For weeks, Nigerians have struggled with the nation’s uneven power supply, lack of fresh naira notes, and shortage of fuel.
Unhappy with the state of affairs, the teenagers invaded the Iwo Road region of the state on Friday morning equipped with many placards to voice their complaints.
However, some demonstrators tried to barge into the governor’s office by marching to the Oyo State Secretariat in Agodi Ibadan.
Security personnel working for the governor’s office are claimed to have driven away the demonstrators.
The protesters allegedly threw stones and other harmful objects into the governor’s office because they were not satisfied.
