The first leg quarter final matches in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday night were instant classics in Paris and London.
The most successful club in the competition Real Madrid and defending champions, Manchester City played out a pulsating 3-3 draw at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Bernardo Silva stunned the home fans when he caught out Real Madrid goalkeeper Andriy Lunin with a free-kick after just two minutes.
Real Madrid fought back with two quick goals from Eduardo Camavinga and Rodrygo to go into the break 2-1 up.
In the second half, Manchester City turned the game on its head as long-range strikes from Phil Foden and Josko Gvardiol looked to have secured a dramatic 3-2 for the English champions.
However, Federico Valverde produced a glorious strike to end the encounter 3-3.
In the other quarter-final match on Tuesday, Arsenal and Bayern Munich played out a pulsating 2-2 draw at the Emirates Stadium.
Bukayo Saka gave the Gunners an early lead but this was cancelled out by former Arsenal star, Serge Gnabry before former Tottenham Hotspur talisman, Harry Kane put Bayern 2-1 up when he converted a penalty just before half-time.
Substitute Leandro Trossard however salvaged a draw for the Gunners in the second half.
Action continues in the Champions League on Wednesday night as Paris Saint Germain take on Barcelona while Atletico Madrid battle Borussia Dortmund.
