President Bola Tinubu has given a directive to the Federal Housing Authority (FHA) to undertake the construction of 5,000 housing units in each state across the Federation, specifically intended for low-income earners.
Matthias Byuan, the recently appointed Executive Director of Housing, Finance, and Accounts at FHA, disclosed this significant initiative during his inauguration reception held at the residence of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume.
The statement released by Dan-Morgan Ihomun, the Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Benue State, highlighted Byuan’s assurance that FHA is committed to fulfilling the President’s directive.
The Executive Director emphasized the alignment of this housing project with President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, expressing confidence that the initiative would contribute positively to the lives of Nigerians.
Byuan urged citizens to support the administration’s efforts in improving the overall well-being of the populace.
Despite acknowledging initial challenges, he remains optimistic that Nigerians will experience greater satisfaction by electing President Tinubu into power.
