The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has implemented a novel approach for candidates to accept or decline admission offers, streamlining its procedures for enhanced efficiency.
In its bid to simplify processes, the Board has established robust mechanisms to ensure that henceforth, candidates can only accept or reject admissions through designated channels: either via the 55019 or 66019 shortcodes, or by utilizing the candidate’s biometrics at accredited Computer-Based Test (CBT) centers or JAMB Offices.
This transformative initiative, announced by JAMB spokesperson Fabian Benjamin, underscores the commitment to safeguarding candidate details and preserving the integrity of the admission process.
By providing multiple secure avenues for candidates to respond to admission offers, JAMB aims to instill trust and confidence in the system, fostering transparency and accountability throughout the admissions process.
