The high-profile International Friendly between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and world champions Argentina will be played at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in the United States of America, on Tuesday, March 26.
The match was earlier scheduled to be held in China but was cancelled following a dispute between Chinese authorities and Argentine captain Lionel Messi who did not feature in a match his club Inter Miami played against a Hong Kong selected side due to injury.
The match with Argentina will be the Super Eagles’ first outing since the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations final against the Elephants of Cote d’Ivoire.
Nigeria and Argentina have met eight times in the past, with the South Americans recording six wins.
The Super Eagles have defeated the Albiceleste twice.
Nigeria will use the game to prepare for their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers coming up in June against South Africa and Benin Republic.
