The Agbabiaka and Onireke communities in Ilorin metropolis have express their appreciation for the grading of the roads by Harvard Polytechnic, Ilorin, Kwara State.
The communities, represented by the Chairman of Agbabiaka Decendant Union (ADU), Alhaji Aribidesi. A.J. and some leaders from Onireke community, paid a thank-you visit to the institution management.
In his short but emotional speech, Alhaji Aribidesi A.J. stated that the communities had lived a life of complete neglect for more than ten years, as a result of the deplorable nature of the road.
He said members of the community are now happy that the road was fixed by the school management.
He stated that by constructing the road, Harvard Polytechnic has the Agbabiaka community feel happy it plays hosts to the institution.
Alhaji Aribidesi who prayed for the continuous and harmonious relationship with Harvard Polytechnic, also said the communities are always ready to support continuous growth and development of the institution.
The communities’ leaders appreciated the institution for construction of the road. They added that the infrastructure will improve the socio-economic, well being of the people and reduction of traffic in the areas.
