Jose Peseiro, the coach of the Super Eagles, is set to determine his future in the next few days as his contract with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) concludes at the end of this month.
Following the success of guiding the Super Eagles to the second position in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, the 63-year-old Portuguese coach has become a sought-after figure by various national teams and clubs.
Peseiro revealed that he has received multiple offers and contacts from both national teams and clubs, indicating that he has around 5 to 7 options on the table.
While keeping the identities of these opportunities undisclosed, he emphasized the need to carefully choose his next move.
In his statement to Goal media, Peseiro shared, “I told everyone to come back at the end of the month. What is certain is that I want to continue coaching and I need to choose wisely.”
He emphasized that, at this juncture, all options are still open, and he expressed the importance of taking a break and staying calm as he evaluates the proposals and projects offered to him.
Peseiro highlighted his intention to rest before the expiration of his contract, allowing him to consider other projects and decide on his future coaching endeavors.
