The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has responded to the suit brought against it by the newly sworn-in Governor of Enugu State, Peter Mbah, over his controversial NYSC discharge certificate. The Federal Government has banned underage students from the National Common Entrance Examination conducted by the National Examination Council (NECO) for admission into unity colleges across the country. The government directed NECO to put strict measures in place to prevent underage from registering for the examination, including making birth certificates compulsory as registration requirement.
