The South African Football Association, SAFA has informed the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF of the travel plans of Bafana Bafana ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier scheduled the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
SAFA revealed that the Bafana Bafana delegation is expected to arrive in Nigeria on Wednesday, with the team already booked into Four Points By Sheraton Hotel in Ikot Ekpene.
Meanwhile, head coach of South Africa, Hugo Broos has been forced to make one change to his 23-man squad due to injury.
Grant Kekana has withdrawn from the squad and has been replaced by Kaizer Chiefs defender, Given Msimango.
Kekana suffered an injury in the Nedbank Cup final against Orlando Pirates on Saturday before being replaced by Junior Mendieta.
Msimango is the only player representing Kaiser Chiefs in the current Bafana Bafana squad.
He was also in the 36-man preliminary squad.
