Obinna Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana has allegedly lost the trademark to Odogwu Bitters.
BulletinNG reports that Odogwu Bitters as it is called is a herbal alcoholic drink that had been making waves in the market since its launch last year.
However, according to a TikTok video by @mylawyersabi aka ‘AMEBO Lawyer’ sighted by BulletinNG Cubana may have lost the trademark for Odogwu Bitters following the fading advert of the brand.
She also revealed that all efforts Cubana made to get ownership and trademark of Odogwu Bitters failed as those who earlier trademarked the brand have come out to claim their brand with original certificate and approved NAFDAC number.

@mylawyersabi AMEBO lawyer: Part 15- Obi cubana loses Odogwu bitters. Watch till the end as e dey look like say one popular tribe for Nigeria don lose their name o, MOGBE O 😮 LESSONS FROM THIS VIDEO 1) It’s very important to trademark your business name BEFORE launching and/or marketing your goods and services. It’ll help you discover if the name is actually free and also give you OWNERSHIP once you trademark it 2) Use CERTIFIED TRADEMARK ATTORNEYS like us #mylawyersabi to avoid stories that touch like this. This agent was solely after the money they’ll make from trademarking odogwu bitters and forgot to DO THE DUE DILIGENCE and inform Mr Obi of the actual position of the name. INTEGRITY and a GOOD REPUTATION is better than sharp moves…. Selah #mylawyersabi #trademarklawyer #amebolawyer #odogwubitters
