Nigeria’s goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali, was absent from training as the Super Eagles geared up for their quarter-final showdown against Angola’s Black Antelopes.
Nwabali sustained an injury during Nigeria’s 2-0 triumph over Cameroon last Saturday, leading to his substitution by Francis Uzoho.
Despite his absence, the remaining 24 players actively participated in the training session at Ecole Nationale de la Police.
The team, led by Jose Peseiro, will continue their preparations for the upcoming clash at the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium in Abidjan on Friday.
