Nigeria’s Flamingos have been drawn against hosts, Dominican Republic, Ecuador and New Zealand in Group A of the 2024 FIFA Under-17 Women’s World Cup scheduled to hold from October 16 to November 3.
The Flamingos will play their first game against New Zealand on the while the Dominican Republic will make their debut in the competition against Ecuador on the 16th of October in Santiago de los Caballeros.
Nigeria’s second game is against Ecuador on the 19th before rounding off the group phase with a game against the Dominican Republic on the 22nd of October.
Defending champions, Spain are in Group B along with the United States of America, South Korea and Colombia.
Group C has North Korea, Mexico, Kenya and England while the teams in Group D are Japan , Poland, Brazil and Zambia.
The top two teams from each group will qualify for the quarter-finals of the competition.
