The leadership of the Nigeria Football Federation has paid a condolence visit to the Babangida family following the tragic accident which claimed the lives of former Nigerian international, Ibrahim as well as the one-year old son of Tijani and left Tijani Babangida, his wife and maid hospitalised.
NFF President, Ibrahim Gusau led other members of the board to visit the family in hospital.
Tijani who is also the President of the Professional Footballers Association of Nigeria, won a gold medal for Nigeria at the Atlanta ’96 Olympics while the late Ibrahim won good at the 1993 FIFA Under-17 World Cup in Japan.
Tijani’s wife lost an eye in the accident while he suffered a badly damaged knee and other injuries.
He is however recuperating and took pictures with the NFF delegation.
