The Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC on Monday insisted that the federal government should reverse the band A electricity tariff before negotiating with the union. Recall the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) on April 3 announced the approval of a new electricity tariff for band A customers. The adjustment was from 68 naira per kilowatts to 125 naira per kilowatts.
