The federal government through the Civil Defense, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board has appointed Deputy Comptroller General of Immigration, Adepoju Carol Wura-Ola as the acting Comptroller General of Immigration. Osun State High Court has found the popular hotel owner, Dr Ramon Adedoyin guilty in the murder case of Timothy Adegoke, a former Masters student of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, whose death occurred between November 5 and 7, 2021 at Hilton Honours Hotel, Ile-Ife. Reports have emerged of the Department of the State Security Service, DSS, preventing officials of the anti-graft agency, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, from gaining access to their office in Ikoyi, Lagos.
