The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command successfully thwarted an attempt to traffic 12 abducted children from Nasarawa State in a recent operation conducted by operatives of the Rapid Response Squad 74 (RRS 74).
This intervention unfolded on Friday, 9th February 2024, around 12:55 am.
The interception occurred when Muhammad Isah from Kafanchan, Kaduna, was apprehended in a Toyota Hiace bus with registration number APP 489 XE, as detailed by SP Josephine Adeh, the Police Public Relations Officer.
Emphasizing the commitment to residents’ safety, the FCT Commissioner of Police, CP Benneth Igweh, applauded the prompt action of the RRS 74 operatives.
