The Confederation of African Football, CAF has scheduled the next edition of the Africa Cup of Nations for December, 2025 in Morocco.
President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, Fouzi Lekjaa had announced that the competition would be played around June and July of 2025.
However, World Football governing body FIFA has fixed the maiden edition of the 32-team Club World Cup to take place at the same time which forcing CAF and Morocco to make changes.
According to reports coming from the CAF headquarters in Cairo, Egypt, the biennial tournament has now been scheduled to take place in December 2025.
However, there are still concerns that this time might be changed again given the numerous changes in the dates of the competition in recent years.
