VIce President Yemi Osinbajo is loved by many for his gentleness and outlook. No one can actually say anything bad about that man. His PR machine is good, and despite the fact that his government ruined almost everything, people loved Osinbajo as much as they hate Buhari.
We can say Osinbajo is where he is by the three things . Grace of God, his brilliance, and Tinubu.
Yes, I said Tinubu. If not for Jagaban, Osinbajo would never have been vice president. He will probably be a lawyer. Well, a successful lawyer because undoubtedly, he is brilliant in his own sense. But Tinubu gave him the platform for us to discover that quality about him. If he (Tinubu) had not employed him, he would have disappeared among the thousands of smart lawyers roaming in court rooms.
But the platform as Lagos commissioner for justice and recommendations for the position of the nations VP made the big difference.
Tinubu didn’t just nominate him, he stood by him, gave Buhari and Osinbajo his private jet, money, structure, his friends, and connections. Toured about 25 states with them to campaign and make promises on their behalf.
Tinubu promised Nigerians on their behalf that they will change the economy, give students loans, employ our youths, and provide electricity.
But what did Osinbajo and his boss do? The exact opposite. They took jobs and ruined any chance for Tinubu to campaign with their works.
We may not blame Osinbajo for the ruins his boss has caused even though he was part of it.
While we forgive Osinbajo for this. We can’t forgive him for his disloyalty and breaking the gentleman code.
He has never campaigned for Tinubu. His boss, Buhari said he is busy with state work and he won’t be participating in the campaigns. Nonsense. Bloody nonsense. He is also busy to ever tweet about Tinubu and post on all/any of his social media handles. He didn’t show up in his Ogun rally.
Well, some would argue that he (Osinbajo) didn’t believe in the integrity and capacity of the Tinubu Candidacy. For real? He didn’t believe in him, and he had eulogized him severally? He didn’t believe in him, and he worked with him?
He didn’t believe in him, and he allowed him (Tinubu) campaign for him.
Well, I have a few questions for Buhari and Osinbajo. If both of you were on the ballot, would you allow fuel crisis linger this long? Would you allow ASUU strike for 8 months? Would you allow the naira scarcity?
Would you allow the economy dive into a mess?
I guess no!
I believe it’s a deliberate effort to frustrate Tinubu and his vision 2023 and Osinbajo is either part of the ones pulling the string of he didn’t care.
Osinbajo is that type of friend no one should have. He is not loyal. He is a snitch and should not be helped because when you are drowning, he will see to it that you die in the storm.
