Nigeria’s Falconets lost 1-0 to Mexico as they continued their preparations for the 2024 FIFA Under-20 Women’s World Cup in Bogota, Colombia, Monday night.
The only goal of the game was scored by Mexican player Lomeli in the 10th minute.
The Falconets had on Friday night defeated Australia 2-1 in their first international friendly.
The Nigeria Football Federation had prepared friendly matches for the team to further fortify them for the World Cup.
The Falconets are in Group D along with Germany, Venezuela and South Korea.
The team which got to the final in 2010 and 2014 will kick off their campaign against South Korea on Monday the 2nd of September before taking on Germany on September 4.
They will round up their group games on the 7th of September against Venezuela.
