The National Broadcasting Commission, NBC, has slammed a fine of N5 million on Channels Television for breaking the broadcasting law in a programme with the Labour Party Vice Presidential candidate, Datti Baba-Ahmed. The government of Osun state has attributed delay in the payment of March salary to ongoing computation of promotion arrears of civil servants promoted without pay in the last four years.
