Chief of Staff to former President Muhammadu Buhari, Professor Ibrahim Gambari, has handed over to his successor, Femi Gbajabiamila. The handover ceremony, which took place at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, followed the announcement of Hon Gbajabiamila as Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu, last Friday. A professor at the University of Ibadan, Opeyemi Isaac Ajewole, has been killed by suspected assassins. It was gathered that the don was killed while returning to his home in the Moniya area of Ibadan on Monday evening. His corpse has been deposited at UI Anatomy. A High Court sitting in Port Harcourt has sentenced a pastor, Chidiebere Okoroafor, to death by hanging for murder. Okoroafor, who is the General Overseer of the Altar of Solution and Healing Assembly based in Oyigbo, Rivers State was tried for killing his choir mistress, Orlunma Nwagba, who he allegedly impregnated.
