The Oyo state House of Assembly on Wednesday okayed the request of the state governor, Seyi Makinde to access another N2bn loan . The state governor had written the assembly through the speaker, Rt. Hon. Debo Ogundoyin, requesting approval for a new N2b loan In his request letter to the lawmakers , gov. Makinde said the loan if granted will be used to improve infrastructure in the state. According to Makinde’s letter, it was stated that the loan will be obtained from Fidelity Bank at the rate of 20.5 percent interest spread over 36 months.
