The Nigeria’s financial sector witnessed deep confusion on Friday over the Central Bank of Nigeria’s inconsistent directives. A few hours after reports surfaced that CBN had authorised commercial banks to collect old N500 and N1,000 notes, the apex bank issued a denial.
